As this episode opens, Usagi is in bed asleep and is obviously being tormented by a hidious nightmare. The scene fades to red and blue. Suddenly, Usagi's golden locks appear, and she is being chased by a youma in her dream! As she dreams, we can hear her heart pounding (poor Usagi is still new to being a super heroine, she has terrible nightmares!). "Aaa...kowai yo~~! "Aaa...scary~~!" she cries. Usagi covers her face as the youma approaches. Suddenly, the brave and valient Tukedo Kamen leaps out of nowhere to save her. He raises a single beautiful red rose into the air. The petals fall from it and swirl towards the youma. The youma bursts into little slivers. Usagi hurries toward Tuxedo Kamen, and wraps her arms around him. Her eyes filled with hearts. Then, there is a scream. Usagi looks up and Tuxedo Kamen begins to fade away. Usagi is awake now and she hears her brother Shingo scream. Usagi is very angry and tells him to be quiet. "Naze neko ga irundayo~~!?" "What is a cat doing here~~!?" yells a frightened Shingo. Luna wakes up on Shingo's bed and stretches out her legs. Shingo grabs his pillow and throws it at Luna to get her away from him. At that moment, Usagi walks in and Luna dodges the pillow. Naturally Usagi is hit by the pillow. Shingo is curled up at the head of his bed, begging Usagi to take the cat away. Usagi suddenly has a mischivious voice. She picks Luna up and taunts poor, frightened Shingo with her. "Yamero~!" "Stop~!" Shingo yells, but Usagi continues to pursue Shingo with Luna. "Gohan yo!" "Meal time(breakfast)!" calls their mother Ikuko. "Tasukatta~~" "Thank goodness~~" sighs a now releived Shingo. The family is sitting at the table eating, while Luna has some milk in a bowl on the floor. Usagi stands up and asks her father Kenji, if she can keep Luna as a pet. Shingo protests instantly and Usagi and Shingo get into a yelling battle. "Hantai!" "No way!" says Shingo "Sansei sansei sansei!" "Yes we will, yes we will, yes we will!" says Usagi "Hantai hantai hantai!" "No way, no way, no way!" yells Shingo "Sansei sansei SANSEI~~!!!!" "Yes, we will, yes we will, YES WE WILL!" yells Usagi, her scream knocking Shingo out of his chair. The scene shifts to Luna and Usagi walking to school. Luna talks to Usagi about being "...tsuki no purinsesu..." "...princess of the moon..." Usagi does not listen carefully (as usual ^.~) and thinks Luna has said "...tsuki no purin..." "...moon pudding..." Usagi has a vision of a little cresent moon in a dish with some chocolate pudding on it. *hehehehehehe* While Usagi is at school, Luna takes a little walk around town. Along the way she passes by a pet shop. A little girl giggles about a cute kitten for sale that licks her finger. After seeing how well this cuteness and licking made children like the kitten, Luna gets an idea of how to get Shingo to like her. The scene changes yet again. This time, to the dark cave where Queen Beryl, the Shitennou, and her youma reside. Queen Beryl calls upon Jedite (one of the Shitennou) to report how much energy he has gathered. Jedite tells her of his current plan of gaining energy and that he is using the youma Iguala. Meanwhile, as Usagi is at school, she talks to her best friend Naru about how Shingo hates Luna. Umino tells them about his fear of purses (he forms a pink thought bubble, we see a bald baby Umino climb into a small purse and get trapped inside, totally hilarious!). The scene switches back to Luna, who is standing on the concrete sign outside Shingo's school. The children leave school and so does Shingo, and, as he does, he passes by the sign. Luna takes this opportunity to get Shingo to like her. She leaps from the sign to Shingo's shoulder and licks his cheek. Shingo screams and goes bonkers! He does a frantic dance and falls down. "Shipai, shipai" "No good, no good" Luna sighs, her plan has not worked. As Shingo sits on the ground, still dizzied by his fall (with guru-guru or squiggly circles in his eyes), his friend Mika greets him..."Shingo-kun..." "Neko, neko ha...?" "cat, a cat...?" he says still dazed. "Shingo-kun, neko ga kirai nano?" "Shingo, you don't like cats?" she says with a smile. Shingo blushes (he likes Mika). Then we see the two friends walking together down the street. As they walk the two talk about pets. Mika suggests that they go see a new pet shop..."Ittemimasho!" "Let's go see!" she says. The scene switches to a wide shot of the pet shop sign Pet Shop Purfume. There is a crowd of kids all around the inside and outside of the shop. They walk inside. Then the cute little chanela (cute bunny like creatures) catch their eye. The chanela come in three colors: pale blue, pale pink, and pale yellow. As Shingo looks at the chanela, it's eyes begin to glow and Shingo becomes mesmerized. He opens the glass cage door and picks up the chanela. Mika asks the shopkeeper if they are expensive. She says that they do not need money. "Honto...?" "Really...?" says Mika, "Dasukata!" "Alright!" says Shingo. Mika and Shingo walk home, each of them admiring the cuteness of their chanela. A cute stray puppy is digging in some garbage. When the puppy sees them, it happily scampers along next to them. They ignore the puppy and the puppy sadly gives up. As Shingo carries his chanela it begins to glow again. We catch a breif glimpes of Jedite gathering Shingo's energy. Suddenly, the scene switches and Usagi falls onto her bed with her arms behind her head. Luna dodges her. "Sou ka shipaishita no ka?" "So it didn't work?" says Usagi. Usagi and Luna are talking when suddenly, Usagi's door opens, and Shingo walks in with the chanela. Luna smiles and meows as sweetly as she can. She hops down and walks towards Shingo. She reaches him. He glares down at Luna. All of a sudden, Shingo kicks Luna across the room (no!!!! poor Luna...). Usagi screams in shock. Shingo holds up the chanela and announces that this will be the family pet, and that Usagi should get rid of Luna quickly. Usagi begins to wimper. "Shingo wa Luna ga ijimeta~AAAAAA!!" "Shingo bullied Luna~AAAAAA!!" cries Usagi. Shingo turns away, covers his ears and leaves the room. Luna licks Usagi's hand.... "Daijoubu yo Usagi-chan." "It's alright Usagi." says Luna. Usagi apologizes to Luna for what Shingo has done. Suddenly Usagi's mother calls her to tea, and the family admires the new pet. Shingo informs them that it does not need to eat (how strange). Shingo takes the chanela to his room and sits at his desk with it. "Kawaii na~~" "So cute~~" he says in a daze. The chanela begins to glow again. Usagi knocks on Shingo's door, it's time for school. He doesn't pay attention to her; he only wants to stare at his chanela. Usagi peeks in and sees the chanela glowing on Shingo's desk as he stares at it. The next scene begins at Usagi's school, were we see Yumiko and Kuriko sitting at a desk admiring their chanela along with many of Usagi's other classmates. Usagi and Naru watch the others. Suddenly there is a form at the classroom door. "Haruna da, minna hayaku chanela wo kakushite!" "Haruna, quick everyone hide your chanela!" says Usagi. Haruna-sensei walks in and everyone becomes quiet for the start of class. Haruna turns to write on the board. She begins to write in cursive English You are a good student. This... There is a sound of tension in the air, Yumiko is struggling with herself "Aa! chanela ga mitai!" "Aa! I must look at my chanela!" Yumiko cries out. Yumiko and Kuriko take out their chanela and begin to stare into their eyes. Haruna walks over to the desk and angerly asks what she is doing; she reaches for the chanela. Yumiko screams and pushes Haruna to the ground. "Daijoubu desu ka, sensei?" "Are you alright, teacher?" says Umino. Yumiko stands up with her chanela and walks out of the class room. All the other students that have chanela also walk out. To be continued in next update. |
