Rumor 11. "Sailorgalaxia is Rubeus's daughter." NO! My goodness, were do these people come up with this stuff! This is totally wrong. For one thing, Rubeous dies without ever being married, or having children. Not to mention that Sailorgalaxia and Rubeous are from two totally different millenniums! Rubeous came back from the 30th century, and Sailorgalaxia was born in the 20th century! So obviously this is false. Rumor 12. "Prince Demand tried to rape Sailormoon." WHOA! First of all I don't wanna even go into this topic. Here's the deal, Usagi was kidnapped, and Prince Demand tried to force Usagi to kiss him. I don't know what he was planning, nor does anyone else. Think what you want too, but please have some more tact! Rumor 13. "Beruche is Demand's daughter, Cooan is Sapphir's daughter, Petz is Esmerod's daughter, and Calaveras is Rubeos's daughter." WRONG! First of all, the ayakashi no yonshimai (four fake sisters) are all related, that means they all have the same father and mother! And since when are you the same age as your parents? Plus, why would Rubeous flirt with his own daughter!? This one is so very very wrong. Rumor 14. "Setsuna and Mamoru had an affair behind Usagi's back and that is where Chibiusa came from." Nice try~! No no no. While this would make for a very interesting twist to the story, there is just far to much evidence against it. For example, if the Earth (Mamoru) and Pluto (Setsuna) had a child how could that child have powers of the moon as Chibiusa does? They can't! Some may argue that "chibi has red eyes more like Setsuna's magenta eyes than Usagi's blue eyes" but rabbits do have red eyes sometimes, especially the pretty white ones (a nice pun on her name Usagi a.k.a. "Chibiusa" and Chibiusa came later in the series so that is maybe why the pun was not used on Usagi herself). Some others will insist that "Setsuna is so close to Chibiusa they are like mother and daughter" true but there is a reason for this bond. Setsuna is a very lonely person before she begins living with Michiru and Haruka and then Hotaru. Chibiusa is Setsuna's best friend. Also remember the strong STRONG evidence supporting the mother daughter bond between Chibiusa and Usagi. - Episode 88: Usagi and Mamoru's love for their daughter (mostly Usagi's love) overpowers the hatred and bitterness that enveloped Chibiusa when she was under the power of the jakokusuishou (wicked black crystal). because of the the love bond between Usagi and Chibiusa, Chibiusa was no longer cursed to be Black Lady. - Episode 119: Chibiusa calls Usagi "okaasama~*" "mother~*" teasing her, as she is begging to go see Thomas Harris at the planetarium. Also there is the matter of blood types. Setsuna is blood type A and Mamoru is also blood type A, Usagi is blood type O and Chibiusa is also blood type O. It is possible that two blood type A's (Mamoru and Setsuna) could have a type O child, but only if they were both heterozygous type A, this means they have Ai type. If Setsuna is homozygous -which is AA- then they cannot have a type O child because two ii are needed for type O blood (one from the mother and one from the father). If Chibiusa is Setsuna's child then Setsuna has blood type Ai. We already know Mamoru's is Ai because Usagi has ii and that means he must have Ai to produce the ii child. Usagi and Mamoru have a higher chance of having an O type child than Setsuna and Mamoru. All on top of which we can see the bond Usagi and Chibiusa share from the very moment they meet. Rumor 15. "Chibiusa doesn't fall in love with Helios, but goes back to the past kills Usagi and marries Mamoru." AHAHAHAHAHAAAAA! No way! This is ridiculous! I shouldn't have to prove it, it's to silly to even think of as true. Sheeesh! Well, in the anime there is an obvious emotional connection between Chibiusa and Helios, in the manga the same connection is also there but not as strong as it is in the anime. As for Chibiusa killing Usagi and becomeing Mamoru's wife.. that's pure nonsense! Rumor 16. "Sailorstarfighter is Mamoru's sister, that is why they both have black hair and look alike. (manga version)" No. Seiya (Sailorstarfighter) is from Kinmokusei (redbud [cinnamon] blossom star) and Mamoru is from Earth. They didn't even know of each other until the Starlights traveled to Earth from the far off planet Kinmoku (redbud blossom). Rumor 17. "The Amazoness Quartet is always bad, and the senshi outfits are just to fool the senshi and to provide a little bit of humor." Chau~~! This person cannot read Japanese and probably only owns up to manga 15. Otherwise they would have seen that the amazoness quartet are in fact full fledged, butt-kicking senshi~~! YEAY~! Sailorjuno~! Sailorvesta~! Sailorpallas~! to Sailorceres koko ni sanjou~!!! ^^ The above rumor was sent to me from Kerri who also provided a detailed explanation of why it isn't true~! Wow! She's so dedicated! ^^ I really liked it so here it is: This is wrong. The Amazoness Quartet is actually the four Asteroid senshi. In the manga, during Sailor Stars, they show up with Chibimoon at the Zero Saggitarius Star and destroy Sailor Heavy Metal Papillon with their 'Amazoness Jungle Arrow.' They are in fact good guys, not bad ones, and putting any images of them with Senshi outfits in any 'Villains' sections is purely wrong. The four Asteroid Senshi even have different names! They are Sailor Juno (Jun-Jun), Sailor Pallas (Palla-Palla), Sailor Vesta (Ves-Ves), and Sailor Ceres (Cere-Cere). They were named after Roman Goddess, and their names mostly match the planet of the Senshi they resemble in color. -- Kerri See! I told you she was detailed~! ^^ All the details Kerri mentioned occur in manga 18. In the anime the four amazonesses live on the same planet and discover Nehelenia's mirror in a pond from which Nehelenia appears and gives each their own Amazon Stone. They aren't senshi in the anime but nor are they evil, they were under Nehelenia's power. Rumor 18. "Michiru becomes pregnant in the anime." *shakes head* no, as much as Michiru would be a wonderful mother she is never pregnant in the anime. Rumor 19. "Minako is Usagi's cousin/sister" iki mo pittari!! ni ta mono conbi! They may always be together, act similar, think similar, and look similar but there is a reason for this. Naoko thought up Minako first and wrote the beginning of the Codename wa SailorV manga. Then she wanted to do the story about Sailormoon rather than Minako. It was then integrated into the story line so that Minako, although appearing to be the princess was actually Sailorvenus the destined leader of the sailor senshi. Rumor 20. "Sailorpluto is Mamoru's cousin." She's just not! She's from Pluto, he's from Earth. [ back ] |
