There are 2 versions of this first one.
Rumor 1. "The reason Haruka and Michiru are lesbian is because
Prince Uranus from the past was in love with Princess Neptune. then after
they died and became reborn on Earth they fell in love again, even though
Haruka was reborn female."
WRONG!! It's ok if you fell for that one the first time around. Just
try not to let it happen again.
Ok, first of all, no such thing ever happens in the manga or anime.
I don't have any clue of how they came up with this one. They should just face
the solid truth, Haruka & Michiru are lesbian.
Rumor 2. "The reason Haruka and Michiru are lesbian is because
Prince Uranus from the past was in love with Princess Neptune. Prince Uranus
had a sister that was also Princess of Uranus. Then after
they died and became reborn on Earth and Prince Uranus was reborn into
Princess Uranus's body and fell in love with the reborn Princess Neptune."
NOPE! Oh, come on, the first version is bad enough, but when I saw this
one I had to laugh. It's so far fetched!
Rumor 3. "Sailorsaturn's attack is called, Death Reborn Revolution."
Death Ribbon/Reborn Revolution is a double meaning pun. A pun in which two similar words or
phrases have meanings which are intended simultaneously. In this case, the literal meaning is 'reborn'
while at the same time 'ribbon' is also intended as shown by the ribbons in the picture of the attack.
The kanji that make up the attack are
shisekaihenkaku which means 'death world change' hence the 'reborn' side of the pun. In the manga when
she does this attack she is shown surrounded by ribbons. Death Ribbon Revolution sounds cute ^.^ I'll forever and always call it Death Ribbon Revolution
(and this is acceptable because it is one of the two pun meaning for the attack). So there! tee hee hee! *^.^*
Rumor 4. "There is a Sailor Sun"
SORRY, no. There was a plan drawn up and pictures made of Sailorsun.
We never saw them but it does talk about the Sailorsun plans in manga 10
in the memorial. Nothing ever came of it. It was probably just some cute fan art.
Rumor 5. "Chibichibi is Chibiusa's daughter (or sister)."
NO. I can understand this one. The manga even uses these when the senshi are trying to figure out who Chibichibi is.
Yet, it's just not true. In the manga, Chibichibi is Sailorcosmos.
Sailorcosmos is the ultimate, pure form of the future Sailormoon. In the anime
Chibichibi is Sailorgalaxia's starseed.
Rumor 6. "The Starlights are male in the manga."
NOPE! Again, I can see where this can be confusing. You can't
really see the breast outlines in their clothes, except in a few
places. Believe me, they ARE there. They may be saggy, but they are there.
The manga version keeps the Starlights as females the whole time. Yet, in the
anime they change from male to female.
Rumor 7. "SailorV had a mental breakdown when Kaitou Ace died.
That's why Sailormoon had to take over as leader."
WRONG! This one was probably a mistake in reading. Yes, SailorV
does have a traumatic moment in the end, but it's not a mental breakdown!
She was regaining her memory of the past. Kaitou Ace (Danbulite, Adonis) dies, but SailorV
accepts this. The last page of the SailorV manga 3
shows Minako (SailorV) and Artemis happy and smiling.
Rumor 8. "Zoicite is a girl."
NO WAY! In the manga Zoisite is male. Zoisite is also male in the anime and is homosexual and in love with
Kunzite.
Rumor 9. "Fish Eye is the only female of the Amazon Trio."
NO. Fish Eye is also a man, and homosexual. He falls in love with Mamoru.
Rumor 10. "Chibiusa is 8 years old."
NOPE! Our little Chibiusa is 900 years old in the manga.
That information can be found in manga 6. And remember,
people from the Moon have an extended life span. manga version
