Many years after, and once everyone had been reincarnated on Earth, Queen Metallia was discovered at the D-Point in the Arctic. Beryl had taken refuge from a blizzard in a dark cave at the D-Point and had somehow released Metallia. At the D-Point, Beryl discovered the Dark Kingdom and became full of evil, dark energy. Queen Metallia gave Beryl the power to rule over the Shitenou. The Shitenou were Jedite, Nephrite, Zoisite, and Kunzite.

Anime version:

In the Anime version, it is never revealed how Metallia is discovered. In the past, Metallia ordered Beryl and the Shitenou to destroy the moon kingdom and the prince and princess. Then, when Metallia and Beryl were reawakened on Earth, Metallia ordered Beryl to bring her vast amounts of energy to restore her once great strength. Then, she ordered Beryl to bring her the Maboroshi no Ginzuishou, the Illusion Silver Crystal. Metallia wanted the crystal to give her more power and to prevent the princess from sealing her away with it.


Queen Beryl / Super Beryl

Manga Version:

Long ago, Queen Metallia came from a dark spot on the Sun. Beryl was the first person she encounted, and Beryl became Metallia's first follower. Beryl influenced the people of Earth to attack the people of the Moon, thus destroying the Silver Millenium. Beryl was killed by Queen Serenity. After Beryl was reincarnated on Earth, she discovered Queen Metallia at the D-Point in the arctic. Beryl had taken refuge from a blizzard in a dark cave at D-Point and somehow released Metallia. At the D-Point, Beryl discovered the Dark Kingdom and became full of evil, dark energy. Queen Metallia gave Beryl the power to rule over the Shitenou. The Shitenou were Jedite, Nephrite, Zoisite, and Kunzite. She dies from being stabbed in the chest by Sailorvenus using the seiken.

In the past, Metallia ordered Beryl and the Shitenou to destroy the moon kingdom and the prince and princess. Then, when Metallia and Beryl were reawakened on Earth, Metallia ordered Beryl to bring her vast amounts of energy to restore her once great strength. Then, she ordered Beryl to bring her the Maboroshi no Ginzuishou the Illusion Silver Crystal. When the final battle between Beryl and the princess came, Metallia gave Beryl extra dark energy and she became Super Beryl. Super Beryl is a larger version of Queen Beryl with blue hair and her body emerges from a giant lotus. She dies from being enveloped in the bright power of the Ginzuishou.
