The problem is, she is also falling in love with her manager, Motoharu. What's a girl to do when she's nuts for her manager AND her producer O_o!! ...and... oh yea, they don't know that Minku and Mink are the same girl! Mink ++ the peppy, pink haired, singing idol that Minku becomes, thanks to the futuristic software known as WANNA-BE. She uses a small computer to transform. She says "WANNA BE STAND BY! Set up!" and then combines with Mink, the idol the girls created on Kanoka's laptop. She starts off as a solo singing idol, and then combines with her friend's virtual idols to form a band called Minkle, for which Mink is lead vocals. [ Mink's Discography & Professional Data ] Toriumi Mahoko ++ She's the only one who is more of a fan of Illiya than Minku. She used to be an okkake and always knows everything about Illiya. Maco ++ The virtual idol Mahoko transforms into using her own computer-cellphone. She plays electric piano for the band Minkle with Mink and Canon. Moriyama Kanoka ++ Minku's friend who is handy with a laptop, and can program WANNA-BE to preform different tasks. Unlike Mahoko and Minku, she doesn't get hyper when there is talk of the idol singer Illiya. Canon ++ The virtual idol Kanoka transforms into using her own computer-cellphone. She plays lead guitar for the band Minkle with Mink and Maco. (Because the company Canon makes many products for computers, this is probably a pun on the fact that Kanoka likes computers). Omu ++ the zany robot guide inside the WANNA-BE program. He, like the program, is from 2099. He can escape the program and follow Minku around. They become fast friends. Toriumi Motoharu ++ Mahoko's brother, a talent scout for his father's company, Bird Music. Motoharu 'discovers' Mink. He believes Mink is the fresh talent -the 'diamond'- he's been searching for. He rides a motorcycle, and is a very kind person. Mink has a crush on him. He does not know that Minku is Mink. He is the manager of Mink, Maco, and Canon. Garuda Illiya Label (Gil) ++ the male idol singer Minku has a crush on. He belongs to the band Jagunna, but has his own solo album. He also stars in a drama with Mizuhara Azumi. Minku and Mahoko go nuts over him. Mizuhara Azumi ++ an extremely vain drama idol. She stars in a new drama with Illiya. She is Mink's rival. Akane Yuka ++ a somewhat naive new idol, and Mink's second rival. She is manipulated by Azumi to break the bond between Mink and Motoharu. Jonny Hotsuta (JonnyTa) ++ a gossip journlist. He stalks Mink digging up anything he can. He wants to get a picture of Illiya and Mink together so he can start a scandal. He reports his info to Azumi. Programer Kyou J Farwell ++ The mysterious programer from the future who keeps close watch on Mink and her friends. + back +
