I've been here -Nashville- since October, and it hasn't snowed ONCE. That's right, October 12th ~ January 15th, not one little flake. But today, wouldn't you know, we got a couple FEET of the stuff! Humm... so, I have my own business, and I work for some people on a regular basis... but I still might have to get one of those run-of-the-mill "go out and work"-type jobs. I don't want to, but I guess I should... or I have to... or something. Right now I'm trying to get a job drawing and cging content for a hentai site. If they like the sample I'm working on I can sell my pics for $70.00 a pop. That would be sweet. Here's my current project, just scanned it in:

REVIEW POST:
Judy and Mary WARP TOUR FINAL @ Tokyo Dome 2001

My WARP final tour DVD from yesasia arrived yesterday afternoon. I paid for five day shipping, but it got here in three. This is, without a doubt, Judy and Mary's finest live preformance. The production, art direction, musical preformance, and singing all went above and beyond their other concerts. 'Classic' stood out as the best; YUKI's voice flowed out so clearly you would think it was from a CD, rather than live. YUKI has got to be the best live singer of all time. Many times she sounds just a little flat. However this was not the case for WARP. I got the obscure feeling the microphone was actually drawing her breathe out. It was, after all, the final preformance. It's no wonder it was the best. I had no doubts. I was just surpised that it was THIS good. I LOVE Judy and Mary, so for me to be this suprised by the excellence of it is amazing.

I also finally found the out of print JAM book. I bought it, and am still waiting and hoping it will arrive all right.

Do not be alarmed by THIS, according to Chiroko it's a 'copy band event.' I heard somewhere that Rainbow Drops was JAM's copy band... but I didn't see them mentioned anywhere on the page.

JAM System Revolution '03 ~Just Again Miracle~ will be held at GUILTY (2nd stage) and will feature several Judy and Mary copy bands including: Sugar drop, JUPITER' 2101, Jonny And Michael, Digital JAM, Herenchi JAM 2003, Miracle Tuner, Miracle Mermaid, Mirou Baby, Lip Mail, and Route 246. Some copy bands that will not be participating are: Raindow Drops, MARY GOD, Babyish Queer Kiki, GREAT ESCAPE, Sugar Free JAM-X, Sugar Lip, and JAMMY ALL MOON.

Today was my birthday! I'm 21 years old today! At midnight Michael and our roommate when out to a bar and I had my first "legal" drink, a SKYY blue vodka! It was a little too sweet (taste akin to liquefied smarties). I will probably regret saying this, but: Just before we left the bar a guy tapped us on the shoulder and invited us to share his weed. It was REALLY strong, the moment he took it out I could smell it from a few feet away. I only had two hits and became very high. The alcohol balanced it out a bit, so every few minutes I began to feel I was becoming sober... then I went back to being high... repeat, repeat, repeat. We went home and had burritos and beer. I'm paying for the burritos now... YA! Gross.

Also, I put in for a Judy and Mary WARP tour DVD (overseas version, so I can view it on my DVD player) several months ago. It was the only DVD I didn't have yet. This morning I got the email that they finally have it in stock (ordered it on the spot, I'll be getting it in about a week). How cool is it that a DVD I've been drooling over for so long became available ON MY BIRTHDAY!? I'm more than thrilled! Thing like this just make me smile.

I forgot to post a few days ago... so here it is now:

Michael and I drove up to my parents place in Michigan for Christmas. Basically I have no religion, for me to celebrate Christmas is merely to celebrate the love of family and the giving of gifts, nothing more. Michael is similar, but being that his family is Jewish he wouldn't have celebrated Christmas in any case.

This was probably the best X-mas I've had since finished high school. Every X-mas before I turned 18 was great too, of course. Living at home with your parents, and still being considered 'the child', you get a bit more pampered around the holidays. Not anymore! When you get older, that pretty much all comes to an end. Last X-mas was an utter and complete nightmare, and I'll not dwell on it... but this X-mas, it was great!

First of all, my life has completely turned around. I cannot remember when I've been this happy. I live away from home in a city I think I'm growing rather fond of, Nashville, with quite possibly the most wonderful man I've ever met. Since this past summer I've lost an insane amount of weight - 40lbs in six months. Six months ago I wore size 16 pants (yikes!), a couple of days ago found me exchanging a pair of size 8 pants for 6's (and I STILL need a belt!).

The whole weight thing is a mystery to me. Right now I think I'm the thinnest I've ever been. I remember wearing 8's and 10's all through high school. Then last year I fell into a horrible depression which, among other factors, caused me to gain a lot of weight. Now that I'm happy again, and have goals again, I lost more weight than I ever expected! Of course now I'm on a strict "semi-vegetarian" fat-free diet (which I wasn't on back in high school). You can sort of see how I've lost weight, even since october. If you look at the cam page, look at the pics from Halloween (I was a size 12~10), and then look at the two most recent pics of me with my hair up (size 6). You can see it. Of course now my bra size has gotten smaller as well. From DD's to D. Hehehe. Last but not least I'm finally making money doing what I love and do best, designing!

So, we drove up x-mas eve and had a steak dinner at my sister's house. Until then (and the filets we got in the mail a few days before that) I hadn't had any red meat since August, so it was an exceptionally good meal for me! Right after dinner we opened gifts! Each of my two sisters got me lots of nice shirts, pants, books. My favorite gift was a peacoat and cash from my mother.

I ruined New Year for Michael by getting complete drunk on whiskey and pepsi. It was sheer luck I didn't get a hangover. I don't drink a lot. In my life to this point I've been drunk exactly four times, and never suffered from it.

This would have been a longer post, MUCH longer. But I have lots of work to finish up before we go out AGAIN for my birthday tonight.

2003! How insane is that...
